Remembering Harold

Always a student and a mentor, Harold Cohn has passed.

I smile as I remember him. As a kid, his enthusiasm and desire to learn always made me feel good about him, and I loved calling him “Ching Wing,” his camp name.

My heart goes out to Sharon, his wonderful companion, who, together with Harold, brought smiles even through their difficult times. As a couple, they were and are loved by all who know them. As a family, they nurtured each other. Despite all of the challenges Harold faced, the two of them made it look easy. All who were privileged to share time with them were the lucky ones.

I know what Lenette would say if she were still here. We love you both.

He has lectured throughout the United States, has been interviewed by the media and has appeared on many radio and TV talk shows
